And the winner is Roger Stahl, unreal.........

Last friday I was chosen as winner when the crowdsourcing community members and the Jury of the "The future of banking" chose the best idea for the most interesting banking services of the future!
As such things never happens to me, I want to talk about it :-).

The competition was arranged by the consulting firm Cognizant as a crowdsourcing initiative called "You are the future of banking" where people were encouraged to post their ideas of how they would like banking services to evolve in the future. 130+ people engaged in the community and voted on hundreds of ideas.

My proposal was:
Statistics and social comparison of my financial transactions
"I would like to see statistics for my transactions and the type of expenses I have, budgeting, etc. as well be able to see how my economic behavior is compared to other bank customers and thereby learn from "the crowd".

The jury´s motivation:
"Social networks and activities on various social platforms have become an increasing part of our everyday lives. We follow and are followed by friends, acquaintances and colleagues. We share the many details of our lives and we have a much greater transparency than just a few years ago.

The winner of the "you are the future of banking" has focused on the use of the information available from other bank customers' behaviors, thus making a "health and status check" By using existing information (of course customers approval and in line with the Data Protection Act), bank customers also see, compare, and maybe even learn from others' behaviors.

With the latest technology, a whole world of possibilities opened up to the companies and organizations that want to offer customized and personalized solutions and proposals for the end customer. The winning proposal focuses on customer satisfaction and provide the Swedish banks an opportunity to better understand their customers and be more responsive to their wishes."
